About This Blog

Who am I, exactly? Well that’s exactly what I’m trying to find out.

I’m currently nineteen years-old and have a whole life ahead of me. But here’s the catch: I was born with bilateral club feet among other health conditions.

This is a big part of my story as my whole life has been impacted by this one genetic mutation.

It was the beginning of a bunch of pain, a bunch of hospital visits, multiple diagnosis and chronic illnesses, and as I grow older and my body changes, these illnesses do too.

But then on top of this, I’m a teenager going into adulthood, something that comes with its own sets of struggles and understanding.

Sometimes, it can be hard to figure out where I and my existential crisis begins and where my illnesses end.

This is what this blog is going to unpack: the war of my world.

Join me as I try to make sense of the beautiful catastrophe that is the world around me: my world.
